Marking Materials

The RoadPrintz detail pavement marking system is compatible with waterborne traffic paints, solvent-based traffic paints and chalk-based temporary markings. Because the system uses standard Graco painting equipment, operators can continue using the same paint materials, tips, and application methods they already know from conventional detail marking operations. If higher durability marking material is needed, the system can use Dow™ DuraTrack™-based paints such as AquaTough™ by Aexcel™, a hybrid epoxy paint offering durability comparable to thermoplastic markings. Operators can precisely control wet film thickness to achieve consistent, repeatable pavement marking quality.
